1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Restier ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Restier is a desktop application designed to help users maintain healthy work habits through timed break reminders and posture notifications. The Application is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.

3. License Grant

3.1 Free Trial

We offer a free 14-day trial that provides full access to all features. No payment information is required to start the trial.

The free trial is limited to one (1) trial period per device. To start the trial, the Application may require a one-time online check. Reinstalling the app or deleting local data does not reset the trial period. During the trial, the Application may require periodic checks to keep working (for example, after several days offline).

3.2 Paid Licenses

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application:

  • Annual License: Valid for one year from the date of purchase, renewable automatically unless cancelled. Includes the number of device licenses (activations) shown in the purchased plan.
  • Lifetime License: Valid indefinitely from the date of purchase. Includes the number of device licenses (activations) shown in the purchased plan.

To manage activations, the Application may send the device name to LemonSqueezy to label the activation in your account.

3.3 License Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Share your license key with others
  • Use the Application on more devices/activations than your plan allows
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Application

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Pricing

Current pricing is displayed on our website. Prices are subject to change with notice. Changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through LemonSqueezy. We do not store your payment card details directly.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for both Annual and Lifetime licenses. To request a refund, contact us at support@restier.app within 14 days of your purchase.

6. Health Disclaimer

Restier is designed to encourage healthy work habits but is NOT a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice. The Application does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or health monitoring.

Consult a healthcare professional for any health concerns. We are not responsible for any health outcomes related to using or not using the Application.

7. Governing Law and Limitation of Liability

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Restier and its individual owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use or non-use of the Application. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid for Restier during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
