License, updates, and support
Use Settings → License to see the current entitlement and About to see version and update information.
Trial and purchase status
Direct-distribution installs begin with a 14-day trial. The License page can show an active trial, a trial that needs an online check, a pending trial check, an expired trial, an active subscription, a lifetime license, an expired license, or a recovery-needed state. When a check is pending or needs connectivity, use the visible retry action after your connection is available.
Direct distribution: LemonSqueezy
On non–Mac App Store builds, Restier uses LemonSqueezy for checkout and activation.
- Choose a plan in the License page, or use the Activate link if you already have a license.
- After activation, the page shows the license email, plan type, device usage/limit, and expiration when applicable.
- Use Manage for subscription management.
- Use Deactivate before moving an activated license off this device, then activate the new device.
If the page reports Recovery needed, follow its displayed reason and retry or reactivate as appropriate. Do not share an activation key in support requests unless the support channel specifically and securely asks for it.
Mac App Store: in-app purchase
Mac App Store builds use Apple in-app purchase rather than LemonSqueezy activation. Purchase through the App Store panel; purchases are available to Macs signed in with the purchasing Apple ID. Use Re-sync IAP or the restore control to ask Apple to restore and recheck a previous purchase. Manage renewable subscriptions in System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Updates and version
The About page shows the installed Restier version.
- Direct builds can check for an update, download it, and install it from About when the updater is enabled.
- Store-managed builds show that their updates are supplied by the store instead; update them through the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store.
- On Linux, the application uses its Linux installation/update flow and may offer a restart helper for packaged installs.

Start with the guides for Timers and breaks, Smart pauses and schedules, and Settings reference. For product support, open About → Contact & Support and use the available contact action. Include your operating system, Restier version, the setting or action involved, and the exact visible error/state; avoid sending passwords, payment details, or license secrets.
